رواية أمير الضباب (مارتين موزباخ )

منذ الصفحة الأولى، يضع الكاتب الألماني مارتين موزباخ قارئه، ضمن دهاليز الحبكة السردية المتقنة لروايته أمير الضباب، تدور أحداث الرواية بافتراض أننا نعرف البطل، حق المعرفة، كما قد يظن الكاتب الذي يكشف خفايا وأسرار بطله الرحالة والمغامر الألماني تيودور لرنر بالتدريج. فمن هو هذا الرحالة الذي خصص له الكاتب الحائز جائزة غيورغ بوشنر، هذا العمل الذي رأى فيه النقاد متعة ذهنية، وفق تعابيرهم ، تدور أحداث الرواية حول حكاية لرنر الذي كان يكتب مقالات عن الحرائق، تحديداً، في صحيفة برلين المحلية. لم يكن يحب هذا العمل. لكنها الضرورة. وقد قاده حظه العاثر ليختص في وصف الحرائق. كتب عن 11 حريقاً، نالت تقاريره المبهرة إعجاب هيئة التحرير التي اعتبرته خبيراً في مجال الحرائق. لكنه كان يتساءل: هل عليه أن ينتظر احتراق برلين عن بكرة أبيها حتى يكلف مهمة أخرى؟

بهذه النبرة التهكمية يمضي موزباخ في تدوين سيرة بطله الذي يتطلع إلى ما هو أبعد من مقر الجريدة المغمورة. يلتقي صدفة بالسيدة المجهولة التي توقظ لديه حلم اكتشاف عوالم جديدة والسير على خطى كريستوف كولومبوس، وغيره من كبار الرحالة والمستكشفين

From the first page, the German writer Martin Mozbach places his reader within the corridors of the elaborate narrative of his novel The Prince of Fog. Who is this traveler whom the award-winning writer Georges Buchner has dedicated to him, a work in which critics saw mental pleasure, according to their expressions, the novel revolves around the story of Renner, who was writing articles on fires, specifically in the local Berlin newspaper. He did not like this job. But it is necessary. And his bad fortune led him to specialize in describing fires. He wrote about 11 fires, and his impressive reports were admired by the editorial staff, who considered him a fire expert. But he was wondering: Should he wait for Berlin’s burning of her father’s ball to cost another mission?

With this sarcastic tone, Mozbach goes on to write the biography of his hero, who looks beyond the newspaper’s obscure headquarters.
